Urban Americas: Community Based Learning

Students in the Urban Americas community, as part of their learning about cities, communities and social change, will engage as active participants in comunity organizations. Students are required to complete a minimum of ten hours at a site they choose and to log their experiences in their observation notebooks.

  • Researcher (design and execute survey to collect information about Broad St. Rapid Transit lines)
  • Organizer (assist in growing and activating existing audience)

John Marshall High School

  • GReat Aspirations Scholarship Program (GRASP) mentor
