Attend an SSIR Recruitment Event
Attending an interest session or SSIR recruitment event is a great way to learn about the program. At interest sessions you will be able to meet the faculty, current students, and staff for each of the communities. Questions about the application, interview and selection process will also be answered.
Here are upcoming events that are planned where you can learn more about SSIR as well as meet faculty and current students in the program.
Trips and Treats
- Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 1:30-5pm
- Outside the Boatwright Administration Wing (on the path to 8:15 and the front entrance of the library)
- Come learn more about the 2025-26 SSIR courses being offered and grab some treats

- Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 8pm
- Will be hosted on Zoom - use this link to access the event
- Attend to receive general information about SSIR as well as hear from current and past students who are/were in SSIR about their experience
SSIR Faculty Webinar
- Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 6pm
- Will be hosted on Zoom - use this link to access the event
- Attend to receive general information about SSIR as well as hear from faculty teaching in the program next year
Taste of Travel
- Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 6:30-8pm
- Lora Robins Court Lobby
- Stop by to grab some food related to places SSIR courses will travel and meet faculty who will be teaching these courses

- Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 5:30-7pm
- Dining Hall Westhampton Room
- Come grab dinner in the Dining Hall and join faculty teaching our 2025-26 SSIR courses to learn more about them and their SSIR courses
