Endeavor Pre-Orientation Schedule

The Endeavor Pre-Orientation experience of The Richmond Endeavor is a combination of faculty-led academic short courses, developmental and skill-building seminars, and information and programs to make the college transition easier.

The Endeavor faculty mentor will be the student's academic advisor until they declare a major. Each faculty led short course also has an upper-class Richmond student who will be their orientation advisor.

In addition to the short course, students will:

  • Go off-campus as a group and explore one area of the city of Richmond that they choose
  • Interact with and meet participants of other transition programs and new international students
  • Have social opportunities each evening with their Roadmap peers
  • Participate in a series of short seminars and activities designed to help them transition to Richmond and to maximize their college experience
