    Sage Ober (she/her) serves as the Associate Director for New Student and Transition Programs in the Center for Student Involvement.  She began working in this role in August 2022.  Sage cares deeply about high impact learning practices and providing meaningful experiences for students to learn, develop, and grow both in and outside of the classroom.  In her position at the University of Richmond, she works with Living Learning Programs (SSIR, Themed Communities, & Endeavor), New Spider Orientation, and Transition Programs.  Through her work with these programs she gets the opportunity to interact and work with incredible students, staff, and faculty.

    Before starting her current position, Sage worked at Old Dominion University as the Assistant Director for Living-Learning Communities.  Prior to that she has worked at Bennington College, Keene State College, and Dickinson College in professional Residence Life & Housing roles.

    Outside of the office, Sage enjoys traveling, walking/hiking, seeing live music, reading, and trying new food.  She enjoys getting the chance to live in Richmond because the city offers so many of the things she loves most.
